De Beers Diamond Jewellers is becoming an official member of the French Federation of Fashion and of Ready-to-Wear Couturiers and Fashion Designers, it has announced in a statement.

The British company, which is held and managed by LVMH and the world’s biggest diamond company, De Beers, which opened a fine jewelry store last year in Paris on Rue de la Paix (2nd arrondissement), is aiming to play in the big leagues.

Even though De Beers has already been presenting its fine jewelry collections during Paris haute couture weeks since 2011, the company is taking another step by joining for the first time, in July, the Federation’s very exclusive official calendar.

"We are thrilled to be on the official Haute Couture week calendar. It is a milestone for De Beers High Jewellery collections. We very much look forward to unveiling our Talisman High Jewellery unique pieces, inspired by timeless mystique and to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of this iconic collection," said CEO François Delage.
