Mango is investing in new corporate facilities, the Mango Campus, extending over 93,400 m2 and costing €42 million. Conceived as an R&D and innovation centre, the new structure will be fully operational in 2024 and is designed to “cater to the company’s new organisation.”

The Mango Campus will be located within the Catalan group's facilities at Palau-solità i Plegamans, in Barcelona, and will extend over an area of 93,400 m2, of which 61,000 m2 will be devoted to office space. The project, involving a total investment of €42 million, has already devoted half of the budget to the renovation of some of the buildings located within Mango’s headquarters.

The remaining €21 million investment is earmarked for the construction of a 20,000 m2 office space, whose building work will begin at the end of 2021. The purpose of the Mango Campus is to “maximize the professional development of all employees,” as well as to ensure “the flexibility needed to meet the group’s evolving future requirements,” stated Mango in a press release.

“The new Mango Campus must be an engine of change for our organization,” said Mango’s CEO Toni Ruiz. “We are keen to promote a new work model that will enable all our employees to operate in accordance with our customer centric strategy, which lies at the heart of all our decisions and initiatives. We are committed to creating a new company culture, empowering our employees to spearhead the initiatives that will become the group's main levers of change," added Ruiz.

Through the Campus project, endowed with cutting-edge technology and conceived as an ecosystem for collaborative creativity, Mango aims to attract national and international talents. “It must become a benchmark platform for the development of a new kind of fashion, inspired by talent and innovation,” said Ruiz talking about the Mango Campus, underlining the latter must ensure that “design, education and sustainability are able to make headway within a phygital environment.”

Mango was founded in Barcelona in 1984, and in 2019 it reported a record-breaking revenue of €2.374 billion. In the same year, Mango opened a new logistics hub in the municipality of Lliçà d'Amunt, Spain, a project that required an investment of €230 million. The group also inaugurated its new innovation centre, located in Barcelona's 22@ district
