Positive Luxury Awards get Marcolin’s support

Eyewear group Marcolin partnered with Positive Luxury to support the first edition of Positive Luxury Awards, taking place in London in February.

The ceremony will be a global celebration of sustainability and innovation within the luxury industry, recognising companies or individuals driving positive change across a variety of categories.

Marcolin Group will present the Innovation of the Year Award, which honours innovators taking an entirely new approach to their service, product, technology or business model, improving their social or environmental performance while also offering large scale improvements internally and externally.

A judging panel composed of sustainability experts and activists will name the winners. The jury includes 12 global business leaders, such as American-British model and activist Arizona Muse; United Nations officer Simone Cipriani; Parsons School of Design Dean of Fashion Burak Cakmak; and author and British Fashion Council’s advisory board member, Frances Corner.

Massimo Renon, Marcolin Group CEO, commented: “Marcolin Group is the first international eyewear company collaborating with Positive Luxury. We will demonstrate to our partners and consumers that we are tracing a new path in sustainability.”

Winners will be announced on 25 February across ten categories, including Brand of the Year, Positive Environmental Impact of the Year, Circular Economy Pioneer of the Year, and Retailer of the Year.

Positive Luxury is a new platform seeking to connect luxury brands with eco-minded consumers through its Butterfly Mark. Brands including LVMH and Temperley London have been awarded the butterfly symbol for their measurable impact and commitment to sustainability.
